Referees Referees are probably the single most hated people on the face of the Earth. Soccer is popular all over the world, only the rest of the world besides the USA knows soccer as football. We Americans have to be differnt you know. So because everyone watching, playing, coaching, well, everyone involved in soccer hates referees, I think that they are probably hated by more people than world leaders. We all don't like them becasue they never call the fouls our way, even though it is impossible to be sure who committed the foul in the first place. We also hate them becasue they send players off of the field for ridiculous reasons. We also hate them because they are scary looking like this guy to the left. And I bet the player didn't do anything to deserve that card. Jump on the bandwagon and hate referees.
