What is a study?
-a small scale sketch of one idea
-a pre-determined presentation of one concept boiled down to its most essential parts
Create a study composed of two sections – one that incorporates your technology and one that does not. The two sections will be shared back to back in either order. You should be able to articulate how these two sections relate to one another. Aim to have your study (both sections) be between 5-7 mins.
Plan to perform in the 5th floor room we used for the camera exercise (Broad 5240). If you have any questions about the assignment or need technical or conceptual help contact Emily and Lauren. If there are space or equipment needs contact Lauren by Sunday Jan 16th.
We look forward to seeing your creativity at work!!
We will be meeting in the same room as last time (video lab, Broad 3261). Please wear comfortable clothes!
Also, please respond to me before tomorrow’s class with two things:
1) the technology you want to work with
2) whether you have an iphone/android/other smartphone with video recording capability or flipcam that you can bring to class on weds (we are trying to have one per person but we can obtain some extras for anyone that doesn’t have their own)
See you tomorrow!
