Josh Bohbot, sec B- Religion v.s E.T.

Space and religion are two things seemingly unrelated but Judaism has much to say about this subject matter. The question that seams to be continuously asked is: Is there life on other planets and stars? In the Torah, the laws and guide to Judaism, there is a mention of a planet or star called Meroz that has inhabitants living on it. Judaism’s fundamental belief is that there are no limitations to g-d abilities in creation. To say that there is no life anywhere else other than on earth would be putting a limitation on g-d and his ability to create anything. The intelligence levels of creatures that live on other planets or stars might not have a comparable brain capacity but to say that it is an impossibility would be limiting the capability of G-d.
