I chose the classic Muybridge photo sequence of a horse and its rider as my subject for my phenakistoscope. I placed animations of a horse alone and a running figure as well to show the two components of the main figure. The runner seems to go faster than the horse (as well as the middle image) because there are fewer frames than the other images.
