What is the significance of fish symbology in relation to the modern human condition?
...in pondering this question, here is a timeline of the modern fish...

1962(?)
The '60s is made groovier with the invention of the Goldfish cracker.

1970s?
The "Jesus fish", an age old Christain icon, reaches the epitome of distinction by becoming an ubiquitous car bumper attachment. This is promptly rebuffed with the fittingly legged "Darwin fish". Many other parodies ensue...

1983
The influential rock group Phish is formed at the University of Vermont.

1996
The first use of the word "phishing" on the Usenet newgroup to describe the criminal activity of fraudulently acquiring sensitive information by posing as a trustworthy online business.

1997
Ben & Jerry's introduces Phish Food flavor ice cream and frozen yogurt:"Chocolate Ice Cream with Gooey Marshmallow, a Caramel Swirl, and Fudge Fish". Proceeds from sale of this flavor go toward environmental efforts in Vermont's Lake Champlain Watershed.
2003
Pixar's fish tale Finding Nemo sets new box office records for an animated movie, and goes on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Fish lovers are horrified and amused by images of Nemo sushi popping up around the internet.

Tim Burton's adult fable/fairy tale Big Fish gives us such lines of wisdom like: "There are some fish that cannot be caught. It's not that they're faster or stonger than other fish. They're just touched by something extra."

Yahoo! develops Babel Fish, a translation program that works with webpages.

So, really, WHY did I do this? --honestly, I asked myself this may times as I spent hours glueing goldfish crackers...
I wanted the image to have a significant relation to the material it was made out of, so a giant fish made up of smaller fish is definitely sensical.
