Doors is a continuous animation made for an animation wheel called a phenakistascope. The nature of the phenakistascope lends itself to only looping sequences, such as running or other cyclical motions. In the 16 frames I overlapped 24 frames to achieve a constant approach towards the next door. As one door opens, then next is approaching. In truth, only one door was used, but the effect should make the viewer question how many were used. In the spirit of past phenakistascopes I also places simpler animations towards the center of the wheel.
