I feel that web design consists of a lot of design elements into one product. Whether it is from static to motion graphics, typography, computer programming, or managing information, mastering the skills and creativity of web design requires the mastery all of the above design elements. I expect this course to be a challenging experience as well as a useful learning opportunity to practice both my technical skills and problem solving skills.

I first started learning web based design in grade 9, where I was taught how to use Dreamweaver, Flash and HTML. Since then, I was interested in the dynamic aspects of such a medium. However, I did not recieve further actual training until I was in college, where I truly started making my own websites.

I took the 161A class last quarter and realised that my weakness was in the programming aspect of web design.
