I would like to encorporate into this watch a natural ability of different species to accomodate to the natural environment and predict weather changes such as: Dolphins staying away from the shore before and during the storm Migrating birds avoiding the areas of the storm Squirels and hairs changing the color of their fur during the winter to a grey or white color Snakes and other animals living in the ground feeling the coming of an earthquake I have researched several wristwatch manufacturing companies and the lates inventions in the area of making a netenabled watch. Here are some of the companies I have looked at: Casio Technowear wristwatch Fossil net enabled wristwatch IBM BlueTooth: wristwatch running Linux I would like to take a Fossil wristwatch and incorporate the following features into it, possibly making several different types of watches with different properties and styles: wristwatch with Global Positioning System to be used to track the location of the wearer for the following purposes: The background of the wristwatch chages color according to the weather forecast in current region (gradient from current weather to tomorrow's) Research how the snakes sence an earthquke. Use a technology based on this observation to send a signal to a wristwatch to warn about earthquake at least an hour before the actual disaster measurer the chemical contents of the air (airpolution). Have sensors in different regions which would analize the chemical elements present in the air and would send signal to a wristwatch to indicate the level of airpolution in the area. Go to the project
