Maya Tutorial 7: Rendering Wireframe

Select View->Camera Settings->Resolution Gate to see what will be rendered.

Select Window->Rendering Editors->Hardware Render Buffer (opens the Hardware Render Buffer window).

Select Render->Attributes

In the Attributes options, under Image Output Files, input:
Filename yourFilename
Extension name.1.ext
Start Frame 1
End Frame 1
By Frame
Image Format Tiff
Resolution ... square (use a 1.0 pixel ratio)
Alpha Source Off (or Hardware Alpha if you want the background transparent)

Under Render Modes, input:
Draw Style Wireframe
Texturing On
Line Smoothing On
Full Image Resolution On

Under Multi-Pass Render Options, input:
Multi Pass Rendering On
Anti Alias Polygons On

Under Display Options, input:
Background White

In the Hardware Render Buffer Window, select Render->Render Sequence.

The image will be saved to the pathway designated under your Render Settings. This is typically under "maya/projects/default/images"
