The following screenshots are rough design mocks emphasizing the page lay-out and key features each of us would like to incorporate into the final design. After, each of us designed some possible options, we are deciding to take best components from each design, in order to settle on a website that is most simple and has less clicks overall.
Aesthetically, we are leaning towards a site with a dark background, probably black, and a sans-serif typeface. Possible, type combinations include Arial for the generic text area, with Bell Gothic, Din 1451, or Museo for the headers / emphasized text. However, the design considerations will only be finalized once will have accomplished our technical goals, as there are quite a few coding tasks to accomplish in a very short time-frame.
