Some Thoughts

Branding humanity. Who are we talking to and what do we say? Given the facts and history of humanity, it is hard to ignore the innate human flaws (e.g. greed, conformity). However, there are also an overwhelming examples for display of human compassion and goodness (e.g. love). Therefore, humans stand on a delicate balance between good and evil. Our brand object aims to create a disclaimer that highlights what it means to be human and the possible side effects.

Research Loop Back

Brand I Research

Brand Objective
"How do we, as a human population, represent ourselves and the world we live in? Even if we try to adopt the mentality that we are a mere speck in the universe, it is difficult to get past the idea that Earth is an incredibly vast and complex ecosystem, constantly changing and rewriting its narrative. And how about humans? Try to narrow the scope to this one species and still there are at least six billion stories to tell today."

How to Paint a Self Portrait?

Water as a Brand
"The content of the water, and the monetary value of the water is will be the same, just the way humans are biologically and connotatively equal. The distinction in "value" of each product is determined by the person who consumes it, when he decides to get the water for optimists over a water for progressive thinkers. Would a philandering young woman get a water for bachelorettes or a water for blondes? Would a yogi get a water for teachers or a water for students? What about someone who does not want put a category on himself? What is the real value of a self-projected segmentation (or non-segmentation) or labeling (or non-labeling)? We want our consumers to question themselves and each other when they are making the choice."

Powers of Ten
Powers of Ten is a 1977 short documentary film written and directed by Charles Eames and his wife, Ray. The film depicts the relative scale of the Universe in factors of ten (see also logarithmic scale and order of magnitude). The film is a modern adaptation of the 1957 book Cosmic View by Kees Boeke---and more recently is the basis of a new book version.

If yes, what is the probability of reaching the objective?
If no, is the project targeted toward human?

Is the message informational / emotional?

Information > statistics
emotion > human condition

Is it possible to creative a narrative with statistics?
