Final Project
Due May 17 (beginning of class):
- folded and gathered signatures of your final printouts
- folded endpapers (optional)
- title decision
Book Specifications:
- title page should have your name, date and course information
- 16 pages per signature (4 sheets of paper)
- 6 signatures
- spread width 16.2" (single page width 8.1")
- spread height 9.45"
Signature Specifications:
- must be printed with grain direction parallel to the binding edge (vertical on the book)
- must have at least 1/4" sewing lip (signature folded off center) on the high folio side
- should be folded and gathered into complete booklets (signatures)
- must allow for at least 1/8" trim on top, bottom and foredge of book
