livewire

Livewire is my interpritation of how things learn. I thought about learning in the basic form: mimicing. Then I wanted to place this behavior upon the most basic of forms, a line. What resulted was a line that mimiced a given form.
The webcam version takes images of either a drawing or a bent wire on a piece of paper with flood lighting. The images are then edge detected, then verticies are picked out and the line on the screen begins to move to try to mimic the shape.
The virtual line shakes constantly and moves in jolts to give a more personified behavior.
