"make like a tree and 'leaf'"

i chose to illustrate this corny pun for my anamorphosis project. to create the illusion of an arrow of dying leaves pointing at a door, i paced a camera on a tripod about one foot above the ground. i then used the camera's lcd screen as a canvas to "draw" with tape, while compensating for perspective. this process created the illusion of a flat arrow in a three dimensional setting. to complete the message of my piece, i scattered leaves around the boarder of the arrow.
