EXERCISE F
I chose to take a second from Stanley Kubricks clockwork orange because I have always loved the way this film fit some much action into a short period of time.
I first selected a visual comical, important and stimulating one minute from the film. Then I choose a second from this moment in which the character is flying into the water, but the camera is not moving.
I outlined the characters movement frame to frame and tracked the movement of the water. I was very pleased with how the outline of the head shows it smashing into the water. This collision is not completely evident watching it at full speed, but slowed to a minute long or outlined it appears. |
