PROCESS: 1) dip string in paint 2) drop on 6x6 sheet of paper. 3) repeat. I began this project with a completely different idea- dripping paint onto paper, folding it in half, flattening it and opening it to see its result (as you can see in the left picture). However, my roommate, who was gladly helping me, started to tell me about Jackson Pollock (whom I don't particularly find astonishing), and we started to create pseudo-pollock inspired works with string and paint. We unintentionally dropped our painted strings onto the paper to see what the outcome would be. 'Twas fun.
