every individual has memories which are hidden very deep, below the un-thoughtful day to day interactions, transactions and bullshit. these memories are usually spawn during childhood and although they were formed through sites (usually of what was at that time considered ambiguous shapes and forms), these feelings when reached are very physical. almost like a distant state of mind, a dream caught in the moment of wake as all reality is stripped away- your mind and body breath in unison as you feel your skin crawl and your eyes become transfixed on an object which may hold no immediate value- you slip into a moment of trance, and then at that moment it hits you. these emotions are reminiscent of perhaps your first memories (any childhood memories). good, bad, twisted or delightful, these are feeling felt before you knew what these feelings were. but how do we reenact these thoughts? that was the question in which i try to explore through a series of conceptual videos. to seek these unspoken thoughts and provoke them to reenter our minds.

welcome to the mind of Troy Vincent Alexander. since this is pretty much my mind; therefore representative of the way that my thought process works, i will be letting you in on a few detail notes. i sometimes don‘t make since, i change my mind (just the same way that i might be changing this text to better represent myself) and i have a very linear train of thought (as i am assuming you do as well). so if you can understand all the nonsense then you will see that my creative process works through motives of textural outcomes combined with a visceral design/production process.
