for over two years, i have been making LETTER SIZE black and white posters almost everyday.

EXAMPLES OF DAILY POSTERS

what i wanted to do for this final project was distill my posters to the point where i would be left with the rawest and purest elements they were made fROM.

what ensued was a language or palette, that when pROGRAMMED into a drawing application would allow me (and users) to recreate posters while consistently remaining in the same vernacular. whEN studying my posters, many sources of inspiration surfaced: collage techniques, m/m paris, kara walker, black silhouettes, art nouveau motifs, INEZ AND VINOODH, anatomicAL sketches, heraldry and royalty SYMBOLISM, organic structures and nature.

i hope that you will thouroughly enjoy this project and that it can perhaps ignite a creative spark that will last "au jour le jour."
