PROPOSALWhatI am going to make a new type of concrete poetry. This concrete poetry specifically explores new way of spatial arrangement using an actual geography data.WhyEverybody exists as a physcal entity. As long as being a physical entity, we are constrained by geography of the world. Not knowingly, our lives are always affected by this fact. This project, juxtaposing the poem and the geography of my life, tries to reveal how my life is grounded onto the physical environment I live.HowThis system uses Google Maps API to retrieve the geography data. Using Javascript and AJAX technology, it superimposes photos that are taken at certain locations in Westwood. |
