| Half & Half Institute
is a mental health center dedicated for those in need. Here at Half
& Half, we specifically work with words who face challenges caused
by schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental illness that influences
ones ability to interact with reality. Words with schizophrenia often
suffer terrifying symptoms such as hearing internal voices not heard
by others, or believing that other people are reading their minds,
controlling their thoughts, or plotting to harm them. These symptoms
may leave them fearful and withdrawn. Many words develope what we
may perceive as a multiple personality. More specifically, these words
functions as two distictly different individuals. By studying these
patients, our goal is to study and understand this mental disease
and try to establish a treatment to help these words. |

We have obtain permission by the following patients to publish their
symptoms and behaviors to be shown as examples of their struggle between
two distinct personalities.

Due to the high success
rates of recovery, we have been receiving numerous thank you letters
from former patients. We are very proud of not only the impact that
Half and Half Institute have made but also the ability for these patients
to recover to a normal and healthy way of life.
